Anne Hathaway refuses to have Botox!

Anne Hathaway won’t have Botox because she doesn’t want to “erase” who she is.

The ‘Love and Other Drugs’ star was offered the wrinkle-smoothing injections when she was just 23, but won’t have the treatment because her face’s imperfections tell the story of her life.

She told the UK edition of Elle magazine: “I had someone offer me Botox at 23. From the age of 25 to 27 – and this is a little embarrassing to admit – I looked under my eyes every single day, because I thought, ‘It’s going, it’s going, it’s going!’ And then I realized the other day there not wrinkles; they’re smile lines. If you look at pictures of me from a young age, I’ve been smiling the same way since I was little. And I had that wonderful moment when you realize, ‘That’s who I am.’Botox would erase that.”

The 28-year-old actress – who shot to fame in ‘The Princess Diaries’- insists she has stopped defining herself by her looks and is comfortable in her own skin.

She added: “My identity used to be shaped on my appearance so much. I don’t think I was shallow – I just think I was young. I focus on other things a lot more now.

Just as she won’t have Botox, Anne refuses to stick a strict diet because trying to be skinny isn’t fun.

She said: “I’ve hit the point in my life where I understand that being skinny is not sustainable, and nor is it advisable, and nor is it enjoyable.”

Support our Veterans with the 2011 American Heroes Calendar

America’s finest have joined forces to help the families of wounded and fallen soldiers with the 2011 American Heroes calendar. This hunky calendar not only looks good, but 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Freedom Is Not Free, a charity that helps wounded service members and the families of those killed in action. Each month features a soldier from a different branch of service united in one cause: giving back to those who gave all. The eleven men featured in the America’s Heroes 2011 Calendar are all former members of our nation’s armed forces with combat experience. None are professional models- Each of these heroes is so passionate about this project they donated their time and traveled to the San Diego calendar photo shoot at their own expense.

Introducing UNITE haircare!

I really love the new UNITE haircare line, it has done wonders with my hair. The scent of both the shampoo and conditioner is so pretty it leaves my hair smelling amazing.

UNITE shampoo gets my hair really clean without over drying it and has really helped my hair to shine. My favorite product though has to be UNITE conditioner, at first I thought it wasn’t thick enough to really condition my hair. That is where the magic is though, it feels more like a shampoo during application instead of the overly thick almost lotion texture of a lot of conditioners. The UNITE conditioner is the perfect balance for my dual personality hair it conditions enough to keep my curls in line but is lightwieght enough not the weigh down my super fine hair. I love how great my hair looks and feels while using UNITE I have even been leaving it down, which for a girl who ties her hair up 99.5% of the time is a big thing!

UNITE is an amazing, cruelty-free, botanically based line proudly free of parabens, sulfate, dea & mea ingredients, and gluten. The premium line already has a list of celebrity fans such as: Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, Sienna Miller, David Beckham, Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Hudson,  and many more. www.unitehair.com
