my first fragrance was charlie. i remember turning 12 and getting my first perfume and how adult i felt.
Sandalwood incense always triggers the fond memories of my trips that I took to the temple with my family as a child. It brings about a feeling of bliss and peace within me.
When I was in high school I was on the track team, as was my boyfriend. He would walk me part of the way home after practice in the evenings. We always parted at a particular corner where we would kiss goodnight. It just happened to be near a laundromat, and to this day the smell of fresh, clean laundry reminds me of our sweet kisses in the cool of the falling night.
I love the smell of peppermint. My grandmother always smelled of the scent of peppermint. When I get even the smallest whiff of peppermint, it reminds me greatly of my grandmother. She used to get a hug and kiss from each and every person in the house when she arrived. I didnt much care for all the lovey dovey stuff when she came by to visit, but now that she has passed…the peppermint smell is something I love and look forward to smelling. It reminds me of her touch…
