Julia Robert’s first ad campaign for Lancome!

Lancôme is finally revealing their “Pretty Woman.”
In her first product campaign for the luxury French brand, Julia Roberts looks captivating in sunny blonde highlights and her trademark full pout — and it’s a brand new mascara that Roberts is modeling for a doe-eyed look.
The new Définicils Precious Cells Mascara features stem cell technology by way of Swiss apple extract that Lancôme claims will grow lashes longer and lusher while you rock the dramatically volumizing formula.
PS: Julia is gorgeous, no denying that. But don’t you just wish someone would photoshop you? I mean there’s no way on God’s green earth that Julia Roberts actually looks like this, even on her best day. Photoshop much?

Actually, if you had done some research, you would have come to realize that the new ad campaign by Lancôme has three elements that are always present in every visual campaign (as per Lancôme’s President Youcef Nabi): 1) the rose, the symbol of Lancôme for 75 years; 2) Lancôme celebrity spokespersons: “The Lancome ambassadresses are photographed by Mario with two simple directions: above all, to create beautiful images but do it with honesty as well. We did not want to retouch their face or change their proportions.” 3) French backgrounds such as the city by day or night.
So, as you see, they are not “photoshopping much” Julia Roberts. This is just a beautiful person photographed by an excellent photographer.
