Valentine’s Day marks the perfect excuse to re-vamp your beauty routine and ensure a kissable, touchable night on February 14th. Even better, get the goodies at your local drugstore with highly rated products that perform without a high price tag. Recover from seasonal forces that impact the skin and lips whether you’ve got a date with a hottie or a date with a comfy couch.

Here are some simple and inexpensive solutions (all found at your local drugstore) that will make you look and feel great:

Step 1: Lather up: A quick way to smooth skin with a yummy smell is with this bar soap that exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. Yardley’s Oatmeal and Almond soap mixes almond and real oatmeal to smooth skin for only $1.49!

Step 2: Get a Little Closer: Shaving is best after soft exfoliation, so grab a razor and get to it. Try using the Schick Quattro for Women to get a close, smooth shave without bumps or nicks. ($9.99)

Step 3: Lock it in: Choose a shampoo and conditioner that is designed for your hair type. Finesse offers options to moisturize, create volume or curls, smooth straight strands and everything in between for loveable locks. (Starting at $4.49).

Step 4: Afterglow: You know you have to moisturize to keep skin soft, so why not add a little radiance to your skin with Jergen’s Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. ($8.49)

Step 5: Pucker Up: Prep your lips for gloss or lipstick with a lip balm that isn’t sticky or waxy. LypSyl LypMoisturizer lasts for hours and smells slightly minty, making lips supple and kissable! ($2.99)

I already do all those things. Well, just on the weekends when things are not so busy. I’ve been trying to find a lipstick that isn’t waxy or sticky. So far, I haven’t found a local one. Maybe I will have to resort to buying online….
