Jessica Simpson’s The Price of Beauty Sneak Peek

Here’s a first look at Jessica Simpson in her new reality TV show, dressing up as a Brazilian dancer and balancing a tray of candles on her head.

The curvy star travels the world learning how different cultures perceive beauty in VH1 show Jessica Simpson’s The Price Of Beauty.

A sneak preview shows Jessica practising her sexy samba moves, pulling off her balancing act and getting a painful massage.

The show will debut on US television next month.

Jessica, 29, has been filming new show over recent months. Back in October she jetted over to Mumbai to learn about their culture.

She was pictured wearing a traditional bindi dot and a henna tattoo during her stay.

The singer turned actress also posted a picture on Twitter earlier this week, showing her wearing a full face mask.

She left the accompanying message: ‘The Price Of Beauty :) Thanks La Mer for the upper and lower zone radiant mask.’

Let’s hope Jessica’s Brazilian samba moves did cause as much controversy as her dancing in a U.S. club at the weekend where she left two guys fighting over her.

The country-pop star – recently dubbed ‘sexual napalm’ by bad boy crooner John Mayer – reportedly got stuck in the middle of a slanging match after grinding her way through Rihanna’s smash hit Umbrella.

The flare-up happened as Jessica and her pals were partying at celebrity hang-out Jane’s Club, on Friday night.

According to Radraonline.com, the curvy blonde arrived around midnight with an entourage of men and her female publicist.

They headed straight to the VIP section where eye witnesses described how she seemed particularly close with one guy in the group.

A source said: ‘It looked like they were on a date. There was definite chemistry and flirting going on between the two of them.’

But her sexy dance moves attracted the attention of a group of passing fraternity-type guys, who strolled by and started ogling the show.

The young men reportedly started moving into the VIP area and one of them began dirty dancing with Jessica.

But this provoked Jessica’s other male friend, who told him to keep his hands off her.

The source added:’He seemed pretty wasted, and he put his hands on her waist and tried to pull her into him.

‘Jessica looked uncomfortable until the guy friend she had been flirting from her entourage with stepped in and said, “Hey, I don’t think she wants anyone touching her”.

‘Jessica looked kind of panicked and she didn’t know what to say, so she just sort of wriggled her way back to her seat.’

The situation was resolved when security came over, the website reported.

Lady Gaga’s High Fashion Concert Tour Costumes

After the rave reviews Lady Gaga received for the stellar Armani Prive dress she wore to this year’s Grammys, the singer is teaming up with Giorgio Armani once again, this time for her Monster Ball concert tour. The Italian designer just released two sketches featuring the custom-made outfits he created for the blonde performer. Through a release, Armani says, “We hear Lady Gaga’s music everywhere we go, it is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon.” From a scintillating one-piece with a lobster-like effect on one sleeve to a sparkly cerulean body suit with exaggerated shoulders, each costume balances Armani’s sharp tailoring with Gaga’s dramatic flair. The performer’s style parade continues with a one-of-a-kind Prada dress that blends high-tech fabric (it’s made of plastic!) with a flared skirt based off a classic 18th century silhouette. Meanwhile, floral embroidery and lace trimming cap off that feisty-but-feminine look.

Make Her Up is scared to introduce… Vajazzling!

This is probably – hands down – the scariest thing I’ve run across in the two years I’ve been writing for MHU. This little gem landed in my inbox today, and it was too disturbing to keep to myself. If I put these pictures on my fridge – I may never eat again!

I can’t believe this woman posed for these pictures! How gross!!! (Course, I also think it’s gross when people pose for acne pictures… ew)

Bryce Gruber of The Luxury Spot, www.theluxuryspot.com a widely read online lifestyle site, became the first member of the media to experience the latest in personal grooming, Vajazzling.

She was sent by Spa Week Daily, www.spaweekdaily.com, to cover one of the treatments that’ll be offered during Spa Week Spring 2010, April 12-18, when spa treatments are just $50 a piece at participating spas across the country. Gruber headed to Completely Bare on Bond Street (www.completelybare.com) to try their newest service, Vajazzling, which is the bedazzling of the area which gets waxed when getting a bikini wax (or more) by adding crystals and beads to the nether regions.

A play on bedazzling and a part of the female body, Vajazzling is the adornment of crystals and beads to the bikini area after waxing. According to the Completely Bare website, “Accessorizing your privates is the hottest rage. From crystal flowers to customized favorites, you too can now decorate your own jewels. Whether it’s a special occasion or you just want to sparkle everywhere, you can choose from an assortment of real Swarovski crystal designs so you can shimmer and shine.”

Gruber stated:

“I’m here to cover up my C section scar. I’m here to give the women of America options.”

Am I the only one grossed out by this?

Sarah Jessica Parker talks about her new fragrance, SJP NYC

Sarah Jessica Parker’s new fragrance, SJP NYC, is designed as a ”snapshot of Carrie Bradshaw”.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who plays Carrie in both the TV series and movies – says her latest fragrance, SJP NYC, was designed as a homage to a vision of her character.

She explained at its launch at New York’s Sweetie Pie restaurant: “What I really wanted to do was capture an image, a snapshot in my head of Carrie Bradshaw, that sort of freeze-frame of her walking down any New York City street at an idyllic time of year in a floral-print dress on her way to meet somebody or to do something, or surrounded by her women friends.

“You can go anywhere with that, because we live in a fragrant city,”

Sarah also said she was surprised when the ingredients for the fragrance came together, as it is concocted of scents – wild strawberry with gardenia and vanilla – she wouldn’t usually choose. She added: “What we arrived at was very surprising to me because it’s not notes that I generally cotton to – but I love it.” SJP NYC comes in a multi-print bottle inspired by the custom-designed Oscar de la Renta dress Sarah wears in the ad campaign for the fragrance.”

Call me crazy, but the thought of smelling like New York, isn’t terribly appealing! I’m sure it is a fragrant city, but is that a good thing? I mean if you want me to smell like Tuscany or something – that I get. But you want me to smell like NYC? I think subways – and millions of people – and cars… I don’t think strawberries with gardenia and vanilla. Maybe it’s just me.
