It’s no secret that most of the major brands of mineral makeup leave me wanting more. I have found most of the mineral makeup lines seem to leave me looking more wrinkled and with less coverage. I was excited to try the sample of Sheer Cover I was sent to see if it lived up to the commercials I’ve seen .  Along with the basic mineral foundation you get a complete makeup set to get your whole look all for less than a lot of lines charge for just the foundation.

The Sheer Cover set was really easy to use with step by step instructions. On top of evening out my skin tone better than the other mineral products I have tried it also didn’t settle into lines and wrinkles which was great. I am still getting used to use a brush to apply I have always been a liquid girl so I am used to applying by hand. But the price and the quality of the Sheer Cover products make their starter kit a steal.

So I have been dying to try this product for a long time, its embarrassing how many times I have been sucked into watching the entire WEN infomercial late at night. As much as I wanted to buy it I couldn’t bring myself to order from the TV.  I was lucky enough to be sent a sample of the WEN Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner and I almost ran to the shower to try it out.

Now the first thing that struck me is that you have to use quite a bit of product 16-40 pumps depending on your hair type and length. Obviously that is way more than most but it is offset by the fact you are only using one product instead of two. The big question is does it work? And after two weeks of use I can say yes, you spend a little more time in the cleaning process but its a nice relaxing kid free time so I don’t mind. My hair is super soft and I have not had a problem with tangles like I used to. With super fine hair my hair used to become a frizzy flyway mess by lunchtime now even without product my hair stays smooth and shiny.
