The Fragrance
Sweeping over the senses in series of soft waves, Pure White Linen Pink Coral opens delicately with a gentle mist of Chinese Berry and Pink Peppercorns. When combined with juicy Apple Blossom, Waterfruits and Clear Aldehydes, a sparkling crisp wetness and a dreamy bright floralcy greet you in the top notes of the fragrance.

Next comes a perfect floral fusion that lingers with the pure innocence of Jasmine, Camellia Flower and a perfect accent of Honeysuckle. A blushing bouquet of Sweet Pea, Cherry Blossom, and Pink Peony follows closely behind, evoking the tender serenity of the ocean at daybreak.

Hot Beauty Trend: Ponytails!

Instead of a formal updo, stars pony up on the red carpet in this simple yet sleek hairstyle.

The high ponytail has a lot of pull these days as stars like Angelina Jolie and Kate Bosworth transform the casual do into an elegant evening look.  The style is “sexy and fresh at the same time,” says Jeffrey Paul, who created Freida Pinto’s pretty pony recently for a Los Angeles event. To keep the look clean, hair should be “polished but not greasy,” says Paul. “Use little product to avoid an oily finish.”

How to style:

  1. Blow dry the hair in a backward motion with a medium-barrel boardbristle brush.
  2. Add a dab of smoothing cream or pomade and sweep hair into a high ponytail close to the crown of the head, using an elastic ponytail holder.
  3. For a finished look take a small section of hair, wrap around the band and secure with bobby pins.

Actresses Freida Pinto, Evangeline Lilly and Elizabeth Banks have been named spokeswomen for L’Oreal Paris

Pinto is one of the stars of the Oscar winner “Slumdog Millionaire,” Lilly is a cast member of TV’s “Lost” and Banks is known for her work in the big-screen comedies “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Role Models” and “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.” She has also appeared in the films “Seabiscuit” and “W.”

“On the eve of the Cannes Festival, to which I want to reiterate our attachment, L’Oreal Paris is delighted that these great stars of world cinema have agreed to represent our brand,” Jean-Jacques Lebel, president of L’Oreal Consumer Products, said in a statement.
