Vaseline introduces Aloe Fresh, a new line of lotions that feel light and fresh on your skin. The line includes an unique moisturizing body gel, lotion with SPF and everyday aloe body lotion that will leave skin hydrated and feeling refreshed, especially during the hot summer months.

In honor of its new light summer variants, Vaseline will sponsor Maneater – a Lifetime miniseries to kick off the summer season starring Sarah Chalke (TV’s Scrubs). In the film scheduled to air May 30 and 31, Chalke’s character (Clarissa) maintains a list of rules to live by – a set of tenets she uses as a guide for her life.

To thread this theme throughout the summer, Lifetime and Vaseline Aloe Fresh has created a promotion titled “The Rules for Skin Season” highlighting the many fun ways to celebrate the lighthearted nature of the summer.

Vaseline invites you to submit your “Rules for Skin Season” for the chance to win a “Fabulous Beach House Getaway in The Florida Keys” – plus fun weekly prizes from May 1 through July 15, 2009.

Log on to www.rulesforskinseason.com to enter your rule and to view lighthearted vignettes where Chalke shares her own rules.

Enjoy a sneak peek to some of Chalkes’s summer rules:

  • Grind up some strawberries for a fresh summer scrub – the seeds will wash away dead skin.
  • Take on summer with a fresh face – less makeup is best!
  • Make body lotion your best friend during the dry summer months – Great skin is the number one summer accessory!
