Parlux Fragrances Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Iconic Fragrances LLC to launch new fragrance lines by Kanye West and Rihanna. Rap mogul Jay-Z is one of the principals of Iconic. The Wall Street Journal reports that in addition to fragrances by West and Rihanna, Parlux is also in negotiations with Jay-Z and a female singer for two other fragrance lines that will launch in the next two years.
Under the new agreement, Iconic will receive royalties and profit sharing as well as options to initially purchase up to four million shares of Parlux at $5 a piece.
Parlux’s Chief Executive Neil J. Katz said, “We believe this proactive investment by Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West is an indication to the market place of the underlying value of Parlux.”
Katz is hoping the new agreement will soon reflect in the company’s stock price which is currently at ninety cents a share. The share price would have to go up considerably before it would make financial sense for Iconic to exercise their options.
Rihanna and Kanye West’s fragrances are scheduled to hit stores by the summer of 2010.

So I just tried the new Nexxus Dualiste line and there are many things to love. I am a huge packaging junkie and I was hooked but the bottle and the dual pump that combines the product as it is dispensed (so fun!). The next thing I noticed was the scent, all 3 products have a great fresh scent and leave my hair smeling soft and fresh.

I LOVE Estee Lauder’s new Shadow Creme! It’s awesome! It goes on so smooth, and it really does last 15 hours! I tried it yesterday, and when I was taking my makeup off last night, it looked just as amazing as it did when I applied it! Love it! I paired it with the Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil, and it was gorgeous!
I wore the color shown above, which is Sea Mist (and is a limited edition) and it was so beautiful! But there are many other amazing colors to choose from! (See below)

HINTS TO STYLE LIKE A PRO
The top styles start with a great base – begin with a good haricut that is well maintained. Treat your hair right by using only quality shampoos, conditioners and finishing products.
Hair should be clean before styling. Thoroughly rinse out all hair conditioning products for best results. Blow or towel dry your hair (see Damp-to-Dry instructions).
ALWAYS DETANGLE and section hair before using the InStyler®.
Section and clip your top layers of hair. Sections should be 2″ to 3″ wide and never wider than the cylinder. Always make sure to start with the InStyler® fully heated to the desired temperature setting, with the rotation on. Start with the bottom layers working from back to front, then work on the top layers.
Repeat through the hair as needed to create your desired style. Do not repeat excessively on the same section of hair for extended periods of time. Keep the InStyler® movng through your hair as you style.
When styling is complete, push the On/Off button until the unit turns off. Allow the InStyler® to cool before storing.
