So I sat done with my Luster kit and a brand new episode of Project Runway to see if I actually could lighten my teeth by 6 shades in one hour. One hour later and I am shocked at how well it worked not only are my teeth more than 6 shades whiter Luster helped remove the stubborn coffee stains on my lower teeth.

It’s really simple to apply just rinse, then apply the gel with the little brush and hold the light to your mouth the great thing is it has an automatic timer so it turns off after 2 minutes. You repeat this process anywhere from 10-20 times. I did 20 and it’s so easy I was able to watch Project Runway without missing a single stitch.

I didn’t have any tooth sensitivity while using the Luster system, and the whole process went very smoothly. I think this is a great tooth whitening system and for under $40 it’s also a great deal.

It works great I am still looking in the mirror at my teeth today. The only draw back is you are supposed to avoid coffee for 48 hrs after treatment. I am counting the hours until I can get my next cup!

I’m sorry, the best OTC product for whitening of the teeth is Crest Whitestrips. Hands down. The ingredients used for this is much safer for the enamel of the teeth.

Most of the stains and problems in teeth may be caused by tobacco, coffee, tea or age. But sometimes such type of stains can be caused by some antibiotics as well such as tetracycline or too much fluoride.

Most teeth whitening products these days use the same active ingredient – peroxide – which is safe for the enamel of the teeth. Crest uses peroxide in their strips, with Luster the peroxide is in the gel.
