Mystic Tan – at home?

mystic_tan.jpg

Have you ever done Mystic Tan before?  I have, and I actually really liked it – but it is SOOOO freakin expensive, I couldn’t really justify going back.

I’m someone who doesn’t maintain my tan throughout the year, and it’s really depressing.  I feel so much better about myself when I’ve had a little bit of sun.

Erin and I went on a walk last weekend, and it was GORGEOUS outside.  It was like 70 degrees, and the sun was shining bright and hot.  At the end of the walk, I realized I hadn’t put sunblock on, and my face and neck were totally burned. Ever since, I find myself thinking I look better – with that little bit of color on my face.  What is it that makes us think we look better tan?

Well, Mystic Tan has released a line of products that you can use yourself at home, without having to go spend the $30 in the Mystic Tan stores.

Remember life before the spray tan? Neither can we. If you haven’t thanked your lucky stars for Mystic Tan, creators of the world’s first automated sunless tanning booth in 1998, then you’re about to: The pre-Red Carpet choice among Hollywood’s elite, Mystic Tan is now available for home use with their groundbreaking Mystic Tan Perfect Tan System. Designed to be totally goof-proof, (read: a smooth, streak-free, natural-looking tan every time), this ingenious system uses patented technology to deliver a glow that’s as gorgeous as the one you’d get at your local spa. Now, you can sport one of the 20 million sunless tans Mystic Tan delivers per year—no appointment required.

I have used Mystic Tan before but I didnt care for it. I like the Dove tanning cream that I found in Target. It does not streak, goes on smooth, and it is cheap.
