Jessica Simpson creating her own fragrance line!
Jessica, 27, has inked a deal with Parlux Fragrances to have her own perfume that will hit shelves in summer 2008!
Parlux is the company that does Paris Hilton’s perfume lines and has been very sucessful with that business venture.
Jessica on the other hand has seen her clothing line flop, but her shoe line has done well. We’re gussing that unlike her former Dessert line of body lotions and creams, this one won’t be edible. That line, by Clean Perfume Fragrance founder Randi Shinder and Simpson promised to make the consumer, “look and feel as good as you taste.”
The question is, does (and will) Jessica still have the star power to have the world loving her scent?

It’s sad to say, but like most celebrity fragrances, this one will likely flop. I can’t think of one celeb who’s fragrance was out of this world. I just hope that Jess will find another avenue to express her creativity - or focus on her successful shoe line to make it even better
