I tried that Color Pulse stuff and I would not recommend it. I tried a red shade a couple of years ago and the red tinge stayed closer to 6 months than 8-10 shampoos--I am not kidding. The color fades pretty fast, but red is notoriously hard to make disappear and honestly my medium brown hair had this red casting for ages.
