Is this a do, or a don’t?

With the onset on new fall colors Benefit has released their brand new 24K gold lipstick.  I adore Benefit, but I am just not sure of gold lipstick. I don’t want to look hot off the set of flashdance. Would you wear a gold lipstick?

I think it would look really cool!

This is only a do if you are a Lauren Conrad type. Warm blonde hair and tan skin….I most definitely am not…(think pale skin and dark brown hair) so this is a big DON’T for me. But if you can pull it off then go for it!!

I think this is great. I will definitely give it a try. I am a pale brunette, but my lips are naturally dark and the gold lipstick really makes them sparkle. Don’t be afraid to give it a try. Just don’t slater it on!

This is a big NO for me too. Pale with black hair. I look horrible with any kind of bronzer or gold tones on my face. I would be interested to see what kind of woman this would look good on. And I would say it should probably be a night time look exclusively.

They also have it in gloss, that might be a bit more forgiving.
