If the sea water goes into your face, water from your body will go into your face skin to dilute the salt. So you hydrate your face at the expense of your body.

But if you eat a lot of salty food, doesn't it make you retain water? I think I can believe the claim that if it is absorbed into the skin, it will retain the water, therefore preventing the evaporation of water from the skin.

I hadn't heard about this product before. I went to the official site to see what the ingredients are and they look pretty good. It's good to see new technologies for the delivery of product.

The only discrepancy I see is their use of "deep sea water" associated with preventing "the evaporation of water from the skin". Sea water, no matter how "deep" it might be, is dehydrating, which is why you can't drink it.

Has anyone else noticed this?
