Beyonce loves the 80’s or maybe just her grandma’s lipstick.
“Beyonce’s dipping her little toe in the 80’s,” Us Weekly’s Freedman says of this shot from the singer’s April 2 Today Show appearance. “There’s some makeup that’s great photo shoot makeup, where you can control the light and get a little funky,” Freedman reasons, “But some things just aren’t red carpet friendly.” Case in point is the performer’s lipstick color du jour. “A blue-based pink lipstick isn’t flattering, he says. “You want the face to look beautiful and balanced. [Something] people look at and say, ‘oh wow, that’s cute, maybe I should try that’ rather than ‘oh my gosh!’ There’s a fine line.”

Coming back to say, (for anyone who browses…) I love the color, and the product! It’s a terrific neutral, especially for a night you play up your eyes. The gloss on top is awesome.
